Alliance Française Association in Lublin

Alliance Française has been present in Lublin since September, 1983. Until 2011, AF came under The University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska; from July 1st, 2011 it exists independently as an association. The president of AF Association in Lublin is Mr. Wojciech Goleman, Mrs. Małgorzata Willaume and Mr. Andrzej Pleszczyński are the vice presidents; Mr. Lech Cwalina is the treasurer and Mrs. Elżbieta Cwalina is the secretary. AF serves three different functions: it holds courses of French language, organizes many cultural events with a view to promoting French culture in Lublin and the region and it makes its francophone multimedia library accessible to the public.

Renting of the lecture rooms

Alliance Française has at its disposal lecture rooms with the equipment necessary to run courses and organize conferences (up to 30 people). The rooms are available for rent during morning hours and at weekends. More information can be found in the AF’s secretariat. Prices: 1 hour (60min) of renting a room with equipment costs 40 zł gross. The cost of renting a room for 10 hours is 350 zł gross; in case of renting a room for more than 10 hours, the cost is 32 zł gross per hour.

Courses and conferences in Alliance Française

Alliance Française possesses 4 lecture rooms for 10 people each as well as one hall that can accommodate 30 people. Every room comes equipped with flat TV screens, Wi-Fi, as well as CD and DVD players. In the hall, there is also an overhead video projector with a large screen and an interactive whiteboard. There is a separate ventilation system installed in the rooms.
